The avatar of the Supreme soul, Shiva, in this vicious world to bring us out of darkness of ignorance, so called RATRI, is celebrated as Shivaratri all over Bharat. Lord Shiva imparts the precious knowledge to us (his child, the souls) through his chariot, the Brahma. Souls adopting the knowledge get rid of KAMA, KRODH, LOBH, MOH & AHANKAR and become the true BRAHMINS. They become the thousand hands of BRAHMA, to lay the foundation of the new YUGA, called the SATYA YUG i.e. the end of RATRI, the vicious world, and the beginning of the day. However, in due course of the SRISTHI CHAKRA, we have mixed up the NIRAKAR SHIVA with the AKARI SHANKAR, the deity. We should ask oneself, why we pray the SHIVA LINGA( the icon of NIRAKARA) and also pray the deity Shankar, if they are same? Why they do not have the same form? Lets celebrate the true Shivaratri, by having control over the vices, and be a partner in making of the new world, the world of true happiness, love & peace.

1.JAGRAT-Waking State
2.SWAPNA-Dream State
3.SUSHUPTI-Deep Sleep
4 Turiya only Great master

my dear friend,

I would like to put here some of my feelings,again, on the point of His ever lasting presence in every being. It took me some decades to understand but my present openion, I mean this thought should have come earlier,or long time back. To say much clearer He was in the form of thought in us or in any form of act etc.,and it was evident always but I recognised it lately for which act of kindness I am grateful.
